Jon took a little "family photo" of them prior to this escapade.
But really, when Dr. Facinelli comes at you with hellfire in her eyes, you know it's time to delay the plane 20 minutes.
Or else.
We still had to sprint through security and further sprint to the gate! We were all overheated, hungry, and exhausted. We had been awake for far too long at this point! However, I got to take my first "puddle jump" plane, which was exciting! We had to take a bus all the way out to the tarmac and board a small, propeller-driven plane via a wee staircase. But we all made it on, we all shipped off, and we survived the flight to Edinburgh!
I'm expecting bagpipes to serenade us on our arrival.
The bus was late (again) and I'm sure someone was sacrificially slaughtered to appease Dr. Facinelli at this point. However, we survived the bus ride and made it to our new home, Pollock Hall.
The halls! Gorgeous. Castle included!
We made it! And then we ate some Italian food.
The day has been rough and some serious napping has taken place. I am not prepared for class at all tomorrow. And then we're off to explore the land of my people!
